Warehouse Coordinator

* This is for our 2nd shift

Job Summary

The Warehouse Coordinator works with Customer Service/Logistics/Finance and the leads to process receiving of materials and shipping of finish goods. The Warehouse Coordinator receives orders and communicates with teams to ensure that orders ship on time and complete. This role represents the organization in all interactions.


Duties and Responsibilities

  • To be the primary communication link between Customer Service/Logistics/Finance and the warehouse
  • Assist warehouse staff; gathering all type of communications and critical information to generate/organize a comprehensive workflow during the day, prioritizing on matters that required immediate action
  • Interact with internal and external customers
  • Record all inbound/outbound shipments in the tracking system
  • Adhering to a daily shipping/receiving schedule and deadlines
  • Process paperwork, interaction with drivers, inbound/outbound procedures
  • Provide assistance to staff regarding order changes and updates
  • Clearly communicate with internal and external customers
  • Multi-tasking and managing changes in a timely manner throughout the day
  • Other duties as assigned


Qualifications, Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities

  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • 1 year experience in a clerical role, preferably in a warehouse environment
  • Knowledge of customer service and office management
  • Basic knowledge of warehouse procedures
  • Advanced skills in performing accurate data entry
  • Intermediate skills using MS Office, ERP’s, and other computer programs
  • Intermediate math skills and performing measurement conversions
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills
  • Must be independent, dependable, detail oriented, and self-starter
  • Excellent organization/prioritizing skills
  • Ability to manage last minute changes calmly and professionally


Physical Requirements

The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch or crawl. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
